We have had so many people tell us how much they enjoy watching South Texas Grizzly.  In fact, I don't remember anybody saying that they thought it was bad.  Rather, its usually something on the lines of "Wow! I'd first like to say that the video is the best hog and dog video that I have seen. My son (3 yrs old) and I (22 yrs old) watch it every night. I have only been hunting hogs with dogs for a little over a year now but it is the most exciting and enjoyable sport there is. I was wondering what kind of cross that your dogs were and if you ever have any for sale? Thanks and I hope you will do another video again this year.

David, firstly I'd just like to say it was a very efficient service to receive the DVD in Australia so quickly- thanks, and secondly, it is without doubt the best and most professional pigging show I have seen (and I've seen a few). I think competitors will find it hard to better- definitely in Australia anyway. Well done and if you do make any further compilations, please send me an e mail!

One other point- there was no reference as to the dogs being used other than calling them a Red Hog Dog. I believe some of them are Catahoulas. Could you please let me know- it is the cause of great debate amongst friends in Australia at the moment!!

My name is David Gardener and I am from Queensland, Australia. I have been a hog hunter for the past 20 years and have seen numerous documentaries on hog hunting but South Texas Grizzly is by far the most professional and informative production I have seen yet. Recently I have started filming some of our hunts and making short documentaries of our exploits. Although they are quite amateur, they do keep friends and family entertained. I am keen to give my films a more professional touch and am inspired by the way South Texas Grizzly was produced. I am curious to know the type of camera and editing software used to produce your film.
